From Hand Tools to Heavy Machinery:
How We Track It All
POV: Marc Boersma, Director of Product
There are three types of assets on the job site.
You've got your small hand tools, your attachments, the things that need to be tracked, but there's no diagnostics happening on those. And that's where our Bluetooth beacon comes in. It's small profile allows you to get location on those things.
Then there's your towables, your smaller engine-powered assets that they need location. Customers also care about utilization, care about movement. And that's where our Slap-N-Track comes in, our small GPS standalone tracker. Got a 10-year battery life capable of over 15,000 pings. And that allows customers to not just track location, but movement and theft.
The third asset class is the large heavy machinery. Those assets require an advanced telematics gateway. And that's where our C1-Core comes in. To be wired up. Customers get location, they get utilization, but they also get a rich suite of diagnostic data from the engine to understand what maintenance does it need, what problems do we need to fix on it so we can improve our uptime.
