The C1-Core is an open platform. So we developed this so that our customers can be software agnostic. They can build their applications customized to their use cases and their scenarios and their value propositions and own that software.

And it's also extremely expandable. We have a bunch of IO. We have a bunch of acceleration on the CPU side. We have a bunch of memory. You can do really quite a bit.

I think a lot of customers are used to just buying based on a spec.

  Will it survive in the wild?

  How much battery life does it have?
• →

  Does it plug into my power?

All of the things that are pretty standard. You can compare devices, but ours is, again, unique because of the openness.

So I think people need to step back a second and view that device as kind of a means to an end, and the end being the data, the value generation that comes from the data or the transformation for their process or their customer's process that happens because of the C1-Core.
