Built as Rugged as the Assets They Protect

POV: Marc Boersma, Director of Product

The rugged piece is huge for Morey. Our devices need to be able to be trusted by customers just like their asset is at the construction site.

These assets aren't bought and disposed of quickly. They survive for decades in the field and are used across rental fleets, customers, contractors. They change hands, and they're built to last, and they're built for extremely rugged environments.

A job site is not a beautifully paved freeway that you can just drive down smoothly. There's rocks, there's bumps. It's surrounded by things that break things. And with that, you need devices that are rugged and can truly perform in that environment, and that's been Morey's history from the beginning.

  • →
    IP69k. Extremely rugged wash down.
  • →
J1455 rated. Devices that are as rugged as the assets themselves.

And you just need that because the worst part about a connected ecosystem is when one thing fails, the whole system breaks down.

If you don't have service, you're not gonna get the data out.
  • →
If you don't have good GPS, you're not gonna get a location.
  • →
If your device fails, that is the last line of defense to the asset

It is absolutely critical to have that be performing, putting the data into your backend so that you can use it in a meaningful way.
