The Morey Corporation Earns CE Mark for MT-30SQ Telematics Controller

Woodridge, Illinois, USA - The Morey Corporation’s new Rugged TRAX MT-30SQ Dual Mode Telematics Controller has earned CE marking, it was announced today, making the system acceptable for sale and installation in Europe and all EEA countries. The CE marking (also known as CE mark) is a mandatory conformity mark on products placed on the single market in the European Economic Area (EEA). The CE marking certifies that a product has met EU consumer safety, health or environmental requirements. The marking is mandatory for products sold not only within the 27 countries of the European Union but more generally within all countries of the European Economic Area (EEA) which also includes the four countries of the European Free Trade Area (EFTA) and Turkey. “Our ongoing success in obtaining certification of the Morey MT-30SQ is a testament to our continued commitment and dedication in providing best in class telematics products to the global market” Emad S. Isaac, Chief Technology Officer, said. The Rugged TRAX MT-30SQ is a powerful new asset management product that helps fleet owners fully utilize, track, and maintain their equipment.

It offers a range of far-reaching capabilities including global wireless connectivity via both cellular GSM and satellite communications, location tracking via GPS, vehicle / machine data bus access and multiple I/O. The enclosure is designed to survive the toughest conditions. Applications for the Rugged TRAX MT-30SQ include fleet and trailer management; industrial automation control; marine; security and asset management; and others. In addition to tracking, the system also offers remote diagnostics and control.
