Taymur Ahmad

Taymur Ahmad is Vice President of Operations. In this capacity he oversees all aspects of manufacturing operations. Since joining MOREY, Taymur has been a catalyst in creating a continuous improvement culture by implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles throughout the organization. Taymur’s leadership in these areas has resulted in higher quality products and increased delivery of overall value to MOREY customers.

Prior to joining MOREY, Taymur served as Director of Global Operations for Philips Lighting Electronics, one of the world’s largest electronics companies. His tenure in manufacturing also includes significant service at major corporations including Textron and Alcoa.

Taymur holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Iowa. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from BSL in Lausanne Switzerland. He holds numerous certifications in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, was a member of the Alcoa Leadership forum and completed the Philips High Potential Leadership course. He is a founding member of the Global Supply Chain Professional Development Committee for Supply Chain Council.
